Scratch and Dent

From time to time, we receive back Black Jacks back into stock that may have suffered some minor issues in transport or sustained some kind of minor damage in some way. We are unable to sell these units as brand-new units, so we offer them as scratch-and-dent sale items.

The Black Jacks are fully inspected, with any damage replaced with original new parts. They are fully tested to ensure that they are in 100% working condition. They also carry the normal 3-year unconditional warranty for all Black Jacks. As they are scratch-and-dent items and not brand-new units, they are sold at a discount to the normal recommended retail price. The discounted sale price includes GST and free shipping Australia-wide.

Leaves our Brisbane warehouse the same day if ordered before 12.30pm.

 Description

Black Jacks that are eligible to be placed on the scratch and dent sale page include jacks that are not in original new condition. They may have been affected by:

• damage in transport, either on the way to our warehouse or from our warehouse to the customer
• damage to boxes
• transportation damage to the pallet
• the jack being returned as a result of not being suitable for the customer
• Minor mechanical or electrical issues that have been diagnosed, and repairs and replacements carried out as required. All repairs are carried out in-house, and all replacement parts are genuine factory replacement parts.

The Black Jacks then go through a rigorous inspection procedure, which covers all aspects of the Black Jacks operation. Once completed, the quality control checklist is signed by the factory supervisor and then placed in the scratch and dent area of the warehouse, ready for sale.

Please note that only the basic models of the Black Jacks are offered as scratch and dent. That means:

• the basic mini, not the mini with the folding foot
• the basic Master 1000, not the Master 1001 that includes the wiring harness
• the basic Maxi 1000, not the Maxi 1001 that includes the wiring harness

The Black Jacks Mini includes the foot pad and all-weather cover. The Master 1000 and the Maxi 1000 include the cover, the mounting bracket, the bolt kit, and the optional folding foot.
